      Allergies

Enjoy the Spring with Chinese Medicine

Allergy season has begun! This is the time to start taking a daily dose of bee pollen, avoid sugars & processed foods, eat plenty of fresh greens, citrus & onions, drink your lemon water, and come on in for an acupuncture session! Depending on how your allergies are expressing, I can treat your skin, eyes, respiratory system and digestion via the Lung, Large Intestine, Liver, Gallbladder, Spleen and Stomach channels. I can also send you home with ear seeds on your allergy points for you to continue the treatment at home.

Seasonal allergies usually have a wind component. Pollens, molds & grasses come into our system on the wind and aggravate our respiratory system. Our lungs, ears, nose, throats, eyes and skin can be affected by allergens. Wind conditions express as itching, redness, difficulty breathing, runny noses & eyes, coughs, dry throat, etc. These are all expressions of inflammation of the respiratory and integumentary systems. Acupuncture & herbs can reduce inflammation, stop cough, open the lungs, stop itching, resolve phlegm, and address additional issues realted to allergies.

Don't suffer through the beautiful spring! Send me a message to schedule something this week! I am in my Montpelier clinic Thursdays & Fridays, and doing house visits as needed.

      See you soon!
